I’m a teacher, teacher trainer, and course writer in ELT (English Language Teaching) with 13 years’ experience. I’m currently working freelance on teacher development projects and conferences around Europe.

I often train teachers on creativity in the classroom, thinking skills in language learning, critical pedagogy, and general methodology (e.g. task-based, project-based, and unplugged).

My academic interests include reflective practice and teacher cognition, artistry of teaching and assessment of teachers, critical methodologies and the philosophy of education.

More recently, I have:

written the Certificate in Teaching English as a Life Skill (Cert TEALS)

completed an MA in Education (University of Bath), with a distinction level dissertation on reflective practice

become the newsletter editor of the IATEFL Teacher Development SIG
